I found these progression pics for the cover art on my phone, thought it'd be cool to share!
Here is (or rather was) the pencils for the cover art.
I usually like to start painting the background first or at least block out all the large areas of color.
And finally I paint the characters and finish all the details! I used to be a lot better with watercolor. It had been years since I was seriously into painting in watercolors. My line work would have been much sharper and may color blending much smoother... oh well.
